Dylan O'Neill's goal at 4:14 of overtime powered the Glace Bay Panthers to a 4-3 victory over the Memorial Marauders in Cape Breton High School Hockey League action at Emera Centre Northside in North Sydney on Thursday.
Jonathan Gallant scored twice while Brady Doucette added a single marker for the Panthers (12-3-0-0).
Kenzie MacMullin, Noah MacLeod and Ian Jenkins replied with goals for the Marauders (5-6-4-0).Glace Bay's Owen Coombes stopped 14 of 17 shots. Memorial's Aidan Penny turned aside 17 of 21 shots.
Cape Breton High School Hockey League action resumes on Friday when Riverview hosts Glace Bay at 8 p.m. at the Cape Breton County Recreation Centre in Coxheath.
