HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY: Hull nets winner, Memorial Marauders edge Riverview Ravens on Thursday

NORTH SYDNEY, N.S. – The Memorial Marauders moved into first place in the Cape Breton High School Hockey League on Thursday night.
The Sydney Mines-based school edged the Riverview Ravens 2-1 at Emera Centre Northside in North Sydney.
Jackson Gerrow and Malcolm Hull found the back of the net for the Marauders.
Owen Buckley had the lone goal for the Ravens.
Memorial’s Brighton Hardy made 27 saves. Riverview’s Kayden Mollons stopped 18 of 20 shots.
High school hockey league action continues on Friday with the Ravens hosting the Glace Bay Panthers at 8 p.m. at the Cape Breton County Recreation Centre in Coxheath.
