SYDNEY — The Riverview Ravens pushed their Cape Breton High School Hockey League regular season unbeaten streak to seven games on Tuesday night.
The Ravens defeated the Sydney Academy Wildcats 6-4 at the Membertou Sport and Wellness Centre.
Josh Novak scored twice, while Aidan Stanwick, Shamus Lahey, Ryan Beaton, and Curtis Fogarty chipped in with single markers for the Ravens (7-0-0-0).
Riley Crane netted a pair of goals, while Brayden Tubrett and Kenzie Carew also added goals for the Wildcats (1-70-0).
Riverview’s Andrew Burke made 16 saves. Sydney Academy’s Dylan Lesnick stopped 28 of 34 shots.
High school hockey league action continues tonight with the Memorial Marauders hosting Sydney Academy at 7:40 p.m. at the Emera Centre Northside in North Sydney.
Riverview and Glace Bay will not have home games on Friday and Sunday this week.
