Memorial opened the scoring at 8:56 of the first period with Keagan’s first of the tournament, before Ryan added to Sydney Mines school’s lead early in the second period.

Minutes after the Marauders took a 2-0 lead, Lavin would put the Redmen on the scoreboard with his first of the tournament, before Jenkins regained the two-goal lead for Memorial shortly after.

The Marauders lead wouldn’t last as the Redmen stormed back with four unanswered goals – two from MacQueen and singles from Mackinnon and MacKenzie – to seal the win.
